History and Culture:
Popularly known as Home of the British Army, this town has years of deep military history to offer. Aldershot Garrison also known as Aldershot Military Town is a major garrison in the South East of England, established in 1854, sandwiched between Aldershot and Farnborough, Hampshire. What was once founded as the first permanent training camp for the British Army became a well-sought after military town, grown to be home to 10,500 people and continues to be used by the Army to this day. Adjacent to the military town is 2,700 hectares of open military training area.
Due to the continuation and growth of the garrison, the camp was later divided into the North and the South Camp, either side of the Basingstoke Canal.

Manor Park:
Popular amongst joggers and dog walkers and also described as a ‘haven’ is Manor Park, located on a short 10 minute walk and 2 minute drive from the town centre. Since 2018 Manor park has been home to the annual Picnic and Pop Music Festival, bringing an average of 5,000 local attendees.
Aldershot Pools and Fitness Centre:

Express rail links from Aldershot ensure a mere 40 minute travel to central London. There is also a swift access to the A31, A3, M3 and M25, providing excellent routes to London and neighbouring cities.

Aldershot has a fantastic range of schools in and on the outskirts of town, suitable for all ages; from nurseries to Sixth Form Colleges. These include Connaught School, St Michael Church of England Infant & Junior, Park Primary School and Ash Manor, popular Sixth forms/colleges can be found in neighbouring towns such as Farnham and Farnborough.
